Orchard Cards is an online card shop which offers a very wide range (nearly 2,000 designs) of greeting cards for all occasions, by mail order. We also sell a good choice of traditional and high quality advent calendars during the Autumn.
Delivery is free for orders of ten or more cards, and we dispatch very promptly - whenever possible on the same day that the order is placed.
We carry a great selection of cards by well-known illustrators and cartoonists, such as Quentin Blake, Annie Tempest (Tottering-by-Gently) and Beatrix Potter, but we also actively seek out small and original publishers, and many of our cards are sourced direct from the artist. We carry a particularly good range of wildlife and countryside designs.
We started trading in 2006, following the example of others attempting to combine the dual challenges of motherhood and business. Based in rural South Cheshire (between Nantwich and Whitchurch), I was unable to buy upmarket and unsentimental cards locally and concluded that there must be others like me who would find it convenient to purchase great birthday cards by mail order.
